TRAVEL MAP GIFT BOOK

South Africa, Zimbabwe, Mozambique & Botswana

This project was for a client and their spouse who recently traveled to Sub-Saharan Africa. I created a series of maps showing the routes they took as well as highlight major activities and sites seen on the trip. The maps were intended to be bound into an A3 size gift book.
Data was collected from OSM and Natural Earth, processed in QGIS and styled in AI. It was fun working with the client and getting to add a personal touch using custom icons (except for the ones used from Mapzen, RIP Mapzen) as well as catering to their color palette preferences.
